NALP is currently accepting proposals for the 2024 Professional Development Institute and the 2025 Annual Education Conference. All proposals are due by May 10.

2023 Lateral Hiring Survey Results

The lateral hiring market showed continued signs of a course correction in 2023, with lateral lawyer hiring down 35% overall, as many firms continue to readjust their talent growth strategies while grappling with excess capacity. Save the Date: 2024 PDI

The 2024 Professional Development Institute will be held December 5-6, 2024 at the Westin Kierland in Scottsdale, Arizona. This is a one-time visit to the West — the 2025 PDI will return to The Conrad Hotel in Washington, DC. Mark your calendars and plan to make the trip to Scottsdale in December. And don't forge that proposals for this conference are due May 10.
